The March Primaries are over, but don't put away that voter ID card just yet. Two local races are headed for a runoff, and one is just Texas political finagling at its finest (worst). Be prepared when you step in the ballot box in April!

United States Congressman: District 17

Texas Senator: District 22

This race has turned into a fine mess... Incumbent Senator Kip Averitt dropped his name from contention days after the filing deadline, but his name still appeared on the ballot against Burleson businessman Darren Yancy. Now that Senator Averitt has announced his formal retirement, this race is headed for a special election. We know that Darren Yancy is going to keep his name in the hat. As more candidates are formally announced for this special election, we'll add them here!
